Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 31, 2026
Revelry ("we", "our", "the app", or "the Service") is developed by Avishkar Software. This policy explains what data we may collect, how we may use it, how we may share it with service providers and other users, and your choices. By using Revelry — whether through the website, progressive web app, native mobile application, or related services — you agree to this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, processing, storage, disclosure, and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign in, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name, phone number, profile details, authentication provider identifiers, verification status, and related account settings. If you use third-party sign-in providers such as Google or Apple, we may receive information they provide, such as your name, email address, profile picture, or private relay email address, depending on your choices with that provider.
Party and event data. Information you provide when creating or managing events: party name, date, location, theme, description, and cover images.
Guest and RSVP data. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, RSVP status, dietary restrictions, plus-one counts, children's age brackets (infant, young child, child, teen), and song requests. Hosts may add guest contact information on behalf of invited guests.
Contacts and invite data. If you choose to add, import, or reuse contacts, we may process selected contact names, email addresses, phone numbers, and related invitation metadata. We do not intentionally upload your full address book unless the product explicitly asks for and receives permission; selected contacts may be saved to help you manage future invitations.
Photos and media. Images you upload to event feeds or as cover photos. These are stored on our media servers and associated with the relevant event.
Messages and communications. Messages sent in party feeds, planning chat, broadcasts, comments, invitation flows, email, SMS, push notifications, and similar communication surfaces may be stored, transmitted, delivered, logged, moderated, or analyzed as needed to operate the Service.
AI conversations. Messages you send to the AI planning assistant are transmitted to third-party AI services for processing. Conversation history is stored to maintain context within a session. The AI may read event data (guest lists, planning items) to provide relevant assistance.
Payment, entitlement, and usage data. If paid features, credits, subscriptions, trials, promotions, or entitlements are offered, we may process purchase status, balances, transaction identifiers, provider references, feature usage, limits, and related records. We do not intend to collect raw payment card numbers directly; payment processors may process payment details under their own terms.
Technical and usage data. IP addresses, device type, browser information, operating system, app version, referral URLs, approximate location derived from network data, log events, feature usage, error reports, and other data automatically transmitted when you access the Service. This is used for security, rate limiting, abuse prevention, diagnostics, analytics, operations, and product improvement.
2. How We Use Your Data

- Provide customer support, investigate issues, enforce policies, and protect users, hosts, guests, our business, and third parties
- Manage subscriptions, credits, entitlements, promotions, billing, refunds, and related account operations where applicable
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
- Any other lawful purpose consistent with operating and improving the Service
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not track your precise GPS location
- We do not use your data for advertising or ad targeting
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties
- We do not use your photos or content to train AI models
- We do not access your phone contacts, calendar, or files unless you explicitly grant permission
4. Third-Party Services and Processors
We may use third-party vendors, infrastructure providers, processors, contractors, affiliates, analytics tools, payment processors, communication providers, AI providers, security tools, and other service providers to operate, host, deliver, secure, analyze, support, and improve the Service. These providers may process information on our behalf, under their own terms and privacy policies, and only to the extent reasonably necessary for the relevant service.
Examples of current or possible service providers include, without limitation:
- cloud hosting, databases, storage, CDN, and infrastructure providers
- authentication and identity providers
- email, SMS, push notification, and other communication providers
- AI, automation, image, media, and content processing providers
- payment, subscription, fraud prevention, and entitlement providers
- analytics, logging, monitoring, support, security, and operational tools
Current examples may include Google, Firebase, Supabase, IONOS, Twilio, Stripe or other payment providers, AI model providers, and similar vendors. This list is illustrative and may change as the Service evolves. We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, networks, carriers, app stores, or platforms that we do not control. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of any third-party services you use.
5. Rights You Grant Us
You remain responsible for the information and content you submit to Revelry, including information you provide about guests, hosts, events, photos, messages, RSVP details, and contacts. By submitting, uploading, importing, creating, sending, or otherwise providing content or information through the Service, you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to do so and you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to host, store, copy, process, transmit, display, distribute, adapt, analyze, and otherwise use that content and information as needed to operate, secure, support, improve, and provide the Service and related functionality.
This permission includes allowing us and our service providers to process your content and information for invitations, notifications, RSVP flows, event pages, feeds, media hosting, AI features, support, safety, analytics, backups, legal compliance, and similar operational purposes. If you do not want us to process information in these ways, do not provide that information and do not use the Service.
6. Information Sharing
We may share information:
- with event hosts, co-hosts, helpers, guests, and party participants as needed for event functionality
- with service providers and processors as described above
- with communication carriers, email providers, push services, app stores, payment processors, and similar intermediaries as needed to deliver or support the Service
- when you direct us to share information, such as by sending invitations, posting to a feed, uploading media, or using a share link
- to comply with law, legal process, law enforcement, government requests, safety requirements, or our legal rights
- to investigate abuse, enforce policies, prevent fraud, protect security, or address technical issues
- as part of a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, asset sale, or transfer of all or part of the Service
7. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained as long as your account exists or as needed for legitimate business, security, backup, legal, tax, audit, or operational purposes
- Event data: Retained as long as the event exists or as needed to provide, secure, support, or improve the Service. Hosts can delete events, which removes or disables associated data from normal product surfaces
- Photos and media: Stored on our media servers until the associated post or event is deleted, subject to backups, caches, logs, and operational retention
- AI conversations and communications: Retained as needed for event context, product functionality, support, safety, abuse prevention, and improvement unless cleared or deleted where the product provides that option
- Technical logs: Retained as needed for security, debugging, abuse prevention, operations, analytics, and legal compliance
Deleted information may persist for a limited period in backups, caches, logs, analytics, service-provider systems, legal records, or disaster-recovery archives. We may retain aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information indefinitely.
8. Data Shared with Other Users
Revelry is a collaborative platform. Certain data you provide is visible to other event participants:
- Your name and RSVP status are visible to the host and, if the guest list is public, to other guests
- Dietary restrictions, plus-ones, and children information are visible to hosts and co-hosts
- Feed posts and photos are visible to all event members
- Team chat messages are visible to hosts, co-hosts, and helpers
9. Email Communications
We send emails for the following purposes:
- One-time passcodes (OTP) for sign-in verification
- Event invitations sent on behalf of hosts
We do not send marketing emails or newsletters. Invitation emails are triggered by event hosts, not by us.
10. SMS Communications
Where SMS is enabled, Revelry may send party-specific text messages on behalf of event hosts. These messages are used for invitations, RSVP reminders, and event updates related to a specific party. Hosts add guests they personally know to a private event guest list; Revelry does not use SMS for marketing blasts or newsletters.
SMS messages may include the host or party name, a Revelry invite or event link, and opt-out instructions. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of Revelry SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. After an opt-out, we record that phone number on a suppression list and will not send further SMS messages to that number unless the opt-out is reversed where supported.
Hosts are responsible for adding guests they know and for using SMS in a lawful and respectful way. If you provide a phone number for yourself or someone else, you represent that you have the authority to do so and that the recipient may receive event-related messages. For help with SMS messages, reply HELP or contact us using the information below.
11. AI-Generated Content and Automated Features
Planning suggestions, captions, designs, summaries, and other responses generated by AI or automated features may be produced by third-party models or service providers and are provided as-is. AI can make mistakes, produce inaccurate or unsuitable output, or reflect limitations of its input. Review suggestions before relying on them or confirming actions. We may process event data, prompts, images, messages, and related context through AI or automation providers as needed to provide these features.
12. Children's Privacy
Revelry is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The children's age bracket feature (infant, young child, child, teen) collects information about children attending events, as provided by their parents or guardians — not from children directly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including HTTPS for data transmission and access controls for operational systems. However, no method of transmission, storage, hosting, provider processing, or internet communication is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that you provide information at your own risk.
14. Your Options
- Account deletion: You can request account deletion from the in-app profile menu where available, or contact us using the information below. Account deletion removes or anonymizes account identifiers, shuts down account-level notifications, and prevents continued account access, while some shared event content, RSVP history, delivery/security logs, backups, legal records, accounting records, and similar operational records may be retained where needed to operate the Service, protect users, comply with law, or preserve other participants' event history.
- AI history: Hosts can clear AI conversation history at any time within the app
- Event deletion: Hosts can delete events, removing associated data
- Permissions: You can revoke camera and photo library permissions through your device settings at any time
- SMS opt-out: Reply STOP to any Revelry SMS message to opt out of future SMS messages to that phone number
Where required by applicable law, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data. To exercise such rights, contact us using the information below.
15. International Use
Revelry may be operated from the United States and may use service providers in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of information in countries that may have data protection laws different from those in your location.
16. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Revelry, you agree to the collection, processing, use, storage, disclosure, transfer, and retention of information as described in this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to collect, process, and use data generated through your use of the Service to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, including for service operation, communication delivery, analytics, product improvement, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, and other lawful purposes. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Service.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date or other notice where appropriate. Continued use of Revelry after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree to the updated policy, stop using the Service.
